Course Content
L1 Award in Employability Skills provides candidates with an introduction to the world of work. They explore a broad range of essential skills, such as job search skills, personal preparation for employment, and effective behaviour at work.This course will cover the following units:
- Understanding Mindset
- Creative Thinking
- Coping with Change
- Dealing with Your First Days at Work

There are lots of opportunities available to you to progress across the South Thames Colleges Group and into the world beyond education. -
Course Structure
You can learn at a time that suits you, however you must be able to commit to attending college twice during the course to submit units and complete progress checks.The course must be completed online within 10 weeks.
This course is fully funded, meaning there is no cost to you.
On completion you will gain a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification.
You are welcome to take more than one course, but you can only take one course at a time.
